This thing is gonna CRUSH the 3-series. And I want to help it do that...

They’re quite nice cars. And if you work for the dealership you can probably get a good price on a lease. You get the job?

I don't care if it's faster than an M3, because look at it... Fuck it's gorgeous. Sounds better too.

Almost every new XE/F I’ve seen has been in BRG and I’m ecstatic about that. That said JLR has a bunch of new high performance I6s in the works which may mean that chassis may never experience that crazy V8 which would be sad. That said I6s are the shit. Exciting times in the Midlands.

Oh I haven’t had any interviews yet. I just took around resumes and introduced myself yesterday. I will be following up with them tomorrow as they requested though.

The R may very well be faster AND better looking and sound fantastic. It makes me moist just thinking about it.

Years ago I reviewed the XJ Supercharged and was impressed by the 470hp motor in that big car. The current 550hp blower engine in this would be nutz. And I mean that in the best way possible.

BRG is always a good choice.

It isn’t going to crush the 3-series by any stretch because Jag can’t offer the lease deals that BMW can (because poor resale values, because Jaaag), but it does look good and some of the reviews are pretty good. I do hope it does well because it and the F-pace need to be a bread and butter car for the brand to succeed and be able to produce things like the F-type and maybe something better/bolder in the future.

Offers on the Jag are suprisingly stout. And yes I did compare mileage to make sure expected mileage was the same. I am a former, hopefully soon again car salesman after all. The only difference between these offers is one is for 33 month and one is for 36, and the BMW offer is for an xDrive. That being said, if you don’t need AWD, Jag is actually the better lease deal.

Realistically, I think it can crush the ATS, IS, whatever that Infiniti is called and maybe the A4 but that’s it. I like the looks of the XE but imo but the interior looks a tad cheap.

I’d take one, but I really wish it was a super charged V8.

I agree. I could give a shit less about xDrive AWD too. Performance oriented AWD sure, but safety oriented AWD? FFS I’ll just buy snow tires and get the RWD.

Have you actually called dealers regarding this supposed deal? A quick glance over some of the Jag forums shows no deals even close to that price. I'm in the market to switch cars and briefly considered the XE and F Pace but the deals are abysmal.

I’m in the market for a new lease and yep leases on both new Jags are not good. I would kill for an F Pace!
Here’s one I saw a few weeks ago

But are people looking at base models for 33 months at 10k miles a year? The fact of the matter is that anything you do to the car or the terms changes the agreement. The same thing would happen with the BMW if you were to do the same thing. People always look at the base model, low mileage lease offer and expect to get that price for an optioned out, high mileage lease. It simply doesn’t work that way, for any brand.

Historically, ze German cars crush English ones every single time. By what metric do you think the XE will do better?
